Ernie picks Ernie Els because he’s due to win a major. Carolyn picks Mike Weir - how can you not pick Mike?? We would like to play in the “Second Annual” because we had such a great time in the “First”.

Steve Stricker will win the British Open. You want me to pick you up for Glen Abbey?

I can’t believe nobody has picked Tiger Woods!! What a difference a year can make.
I also pick Mike Weir but think with the bad weather coming as predicted, a european will win it once again.

Dear Tim,
I think Tiger Woods will win the British Open, because he will be away from home so he will not have to deal with home pressure or paparazzi. He will be able to focus on the task at hand.

Steve Stricker is my choice,he is usually a contender and won last week.He isn`t my favorite player but I think he has to be a favorite. Phil

Phil Mickelson has had his troubles at prior British Opens - but 2010 at St.Andrews is his year. Got the clubs in the car Tim - just waiting for the call.

I’ll go with John Daly to win. Better that he has a good game this weekend as opposed to next weekend when I take him on at Thundering Waters.
I want to play in the Salisbury golf tournament because I didn’t make the cut for The Open.

I’ll take a Peter Hanson. Who? The “fourth” hanson brother!! Foilin’ up coach!!
I want to be in the Salisbury golf tournament, why? I have a new daughter, 7 weeks old and we have been out of the house in 7 weeks!!!!
Thanx for another great blog.

So just about after 2 rounds at the Open Championship, some of you might want to reconsider your Phil Mickelson pick of winning this tournament.

Louis Oosthuizen is the New Open champion!! Now nobody guessed Louis was going to win the Championship so the prize will be carried over to the next contest. We did have a winner for the chance to play at Glen Abbey with Timothy and the winner is Ernie Sibbett!! Congrats Ernie and we will be going sometime in August.
